Welcome to Irish Lane Kennels. By accessing this website, placing a deposit, reserving, purchasing, or arranging delivery of a puppy from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Irish Lane Kennels, located at PO Box 251, Mount Vernon, Iowa, has over 40 years of experience raising healthy, happy puppies in a loving home environment. All puppies are raised from carefully selected, healthy, well-socialized parent dogs and are nurtured to ensure the best possible start in life.

All puppies are offered subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse a sale at our sole discretion if we feel a placement is not in the best interest of the puppy. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy. Deposits will only be refunded if Irish Lane Kennels is unable to provide the selected puppy. Full payment must be completed prior to pickup or delivery. Prices are subject to change without notice until a deposit has been received. Any additional services, including ground transportation, airport meetups, or the use of a flight nanny, will incur additional costs. We do not ship puppies via cargo under any circumstances.

Free pickup is available in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Delivery options are available for an additional fee and are weather permitting. Delivery may be arranged through ground transport, in-cabin flight nanny service, or meeting at the closest major airport. We offer delivery to many states; however, travel plans are scheduled based on the puppy’s age, health, airline regulations, and transport availability. Irish Lane Kennels is not responsible for delays caused by weather, airline schedule changes, or circumstances beyond our control.

All puppies receive age-appropriate care and are observed for general health prior to placement. The buyer is responsible for scheduling a veterinary examination within 72 hours of receiving their puppy and for maintaining routine veterinary care, proper nutrition, appropriate training, and a safe, loving home. We provide general guidance on feeding, training, and care for educational purposes only, and this information is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Because each puppy is unique, we do not guarantee adult size, weight, coat type, or color.

By purchasing a puppy from Irish Lane Kennels, you agree to treat the puppy with patience and kindness and to use positive training methods. If at any time you are unable to keep your dog, you must contact Irish Lane Kennels so we can assist in finding an appropriate new home. Our puppies may not be surrendered to shelters or rescues. Refunds will not be issued for returned dogs.

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all puppies are sold as companion pets. Any discussion of breeding rights must be approved in advance and will require a separate written agreement and adjusted pricing.

All content on this website, including text, photos, and videos, is the property of Irish Lane Kennels and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission. Irish Lane Kennels shall not be held liable for veterinary expenses incurred after the puppy leaves our care, nor for any damages, injuries, or losses caused by the dog after transfer to the buyer.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any changes will be posted on this page. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa.
